Volunteer Opportunities
Below are some specific opportunties for volunteering at Camp Courageous. These are just some specific needs, but help is always needed in almost all departements. Weekend Office Duty -
Camp Courageous is open everyday of the week. The office is staffed by a weekend duty person. However, sometimes rentals or pool duty will require the weekend duty person to leave the office. In order to remain open, the camp is looking for volunteers to cover the office for a few hours when needed.
Weekend office duty volunteers will answer the phone, show the camp presentation, give tours, and other simple tasks. Training is provided to everyone.
Office hours on Saturdays are 8 AM to 4 PM, with volunteers typically needed in either the mornings or early afternoons. On Sunday, the office is open from 12 PM to 4 PM, with coverage typically needed in the early afternoon.
